Daniel Guiot Vial

Daniel is an investment banker with 10+ years of proven M&A record in the financial, insurance, automotive, oil & gas and industrial sectors, among others. 

Before establishing Guiot.Capital, Daniel started his investment banking career at RIóN M&A, where he started as an analyst and became a Partner after 5 years.

Prior to joining RIóN M&A, Daniel was an Account Executive for financial institutions at CIBanco where he was responsible for half of CIBanco’s total loan portfolio.

Sofía Baeza Pérez

Before joining Guiot.Capital, Sofia started her investment banking carrer in 2016 in RIóN M&A as an Analyst; since then, she has advised clients in the retail and consumer, healthcare, and financial services industries among others.

She has more than 7 years of experience within the financial sector, collaborating with global institutions such as Goldman Sachs and Itau.

Sofía has also co-founded NorthStar Enterprise Solutions, a management and financial advisory firm for SMEs. Before that, she worked as an investment analyst in the Mexican Pension Fund Manager, Afore Azteca.

  • Sofia holds an MBA from McCombs School of Business, University of Texas at Austin, where she was a Forté and a Sylff Fellow.

  • She holds a B.A. degree in Administration and Finance from the Universidad Panamericana, where she graduated with honors.

José Pablo Cevallos

José Pablo began his professional career at Guiot.Capital in 2024, assuming the role of analyst.

José Pablo is pursuing a degree in Business & Management at Universidad Panamericana. In addition, in the summer of 2024, he completed a course at Northwestern University, where he acquired skills in leadership, decision-making, and innovation.

Before starting his university studies, José Pablo demonstrated his ability to lead and coordinate projects during his participation in the “Decision Makers Challenge – L’Oréal”. In this challenge, he worked to improve the visibility of a L’Oréal facial scanner, achieving a notable second place in a competition with more than 20 participating teams.
